About Laura Corebello
I was born and raised in NYC, but now living on the Blue Ridge Mountain range in Virginia which serves as a beautiful backdrop for inspirational photographs and paintings.
My career has been an art teacher in elementary public schools for the past 20+ years. My love for painting and photography has been intertwined throughout the years. Photography began with a brownie camera when I was 6 years old and has never stopped being an extension of myself ever since. During the 90's I opened my own photography business called "Innocent Images". I took photos of children in outdoor natural settings. From there grew the studio shots and wedding photos. I mostly enjoy using the camera as an artistic tool capturing moments in time. I want my photos to tell a story and draw emotions. I was excited when one of my Jeep photos was published in Jeep Magazine!
When I'm not taking pictures or teaching, I enjoy sketching with pastels and painting. My artwork has been in art shows in New Jersey as well as Virginia. I have done numerous commissioned works. I hope you enjoy looking at my photography and paintings and sharing some of your comments with me. Thank you for visiting my site.
